Right off the showroom floor, the Ferrari F430 Scuderia is no slouch. Shaving over 200 pounds and adding another 70 horsepower gives the Scuderia an edge over the base model and now AI Design in New York has pushed the car's limits even further by prepping one for the serious competition on the race track.
A custom roll cage was fabricated to mount the harnesses and keep the driver safe. Most of the door hardware was replaced with carbon fiber panels and Porsche style door straps, shedding several pounds off each side. The sound from the Ferrari V8 is one of the most recognizable of any car and even more so on this car with the addition of a full Capristo exhaust system.
AI had this to say about the wheel and tire package:
"To improve grip, 19” HRE P40S forged Monoblok wheels were fitted, shod with one of our favorite “track day” choices, Michelin’s excellent Pilot Sport Cup rubber. The Michelins do a particularly good job over multiple sessions, in our opinion. The HRE wheels were chosen for their light weight, as well as the strength of a forged one-piece design (they happen to look great on the car too)."
