The McLaren name is one of the most respected names in racing and its street cars carry on that racing heritage with style. The MP4-12C is already a fantastic supercar, but some owners just need more. Enter Autodynamica in The Woodlands, Texas. This white beast makes 616 horsepower from the factory, but the folks at Autodynamica had plans to unleash the full potential of this amazing machine.
To start, carbon accents were used to replace the existing poly-urethane trim pieces and mirrors for a much cleaner look and to scrub a few pounds. The next step was to scrub weight (and add style) where it matters the most and HRE was the only brand that AD would put on such a high caliber car. The owner chose a set of brushed clear HRE P43SC forged wheels, 20" fronts and 21" rears, wrapped in a set of Pirelli P-Zeros.
To unlock more power from the 3.8 liter V8, Autodynamica used a ECU re-flash created by the team at Evolution Motorsports and a set of HGF high-flow cats and X-Pipe to bring the power up to an incredible 720 horsepower.
The finishing touch was something very different and one-of-a-kind. McLaren Formula One driver Sergio Perez is a friend of the shop and took the time to come by and sign the hood of this MP. The finished product is something completely unique and tasteful. We hope the owner enjoys this fantastic looking car as much as we do.
