This year, HRE Wheels will be present on two vehicles in the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 30. Rhys Millen Racing's Paul Dallenbach will be behind the wheel of the Time Attack Genesis Coupe and Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima of Team APEV in the "Electric Monster" Sport E-Runner. Unfortunately, a third HRE-supported vehicle piloted by Cody Loveland will be retiring from this year’s event due to an accident during practice.
Paul Dallenbach, a newcomer to RMR, will be battling in the Time Attack 2WD class with the 2012 record-setting 700-horsepower Hyundai Genesis Coupe featuring a set of HRE C90 forged wheels. Paul, a local favorite amongst the Colorado fans, will be looking to add to his six class wins and three overall wins at this year's famed hill climb.
Meanwhile, current Unlimited Class world record holder and Pikes Peak legend, Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima, will be looking to power his upgraded Monster Sport E-Runner on HRE monoblok P43S to a better result this weekend after suffering an on-board fire accident last year following a qualifying round win.
