It's a two-for-two finish for the boys at Performance Autosport this weekend as they won both Grassroots Motorsports Magazine UTCC and the NASA Mid-Atlantic Heat Wave.
Their PAS Ford Mustang RTR, piloted by Chris Cobetto, endured some rough patches, including losing the front bumper splitter, but pulled through to secure two top podium finishes at the now "Oak tree-less" Virginia International Raceway on Saturday and Sunday.
In other motorsports action, all three HRE-supported Formula Drift drivers made the Top-8 round at Evergreen Speedway, however, Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Darren McNamara suffered drivetrain failures with their vehicles while Justin Pawlak was eliminated by Fredric Aasbo.
HRE Wheels is once again proud to be apart of this overall successful racing weekend, congratulating Performance Autosport on a job well-done and applauding the efforts of all three Formula D drivers/teams!
