The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles was the host venue for the 7th Annual European Car Gathering (EURO18) that primarily celebrates Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz cars. The event was hosted by HRE Wheels, California Car Cover and dubNation.
HRE Wheels displayed their latest Forged and FlowForm wheels in a multitude of finishes and featured the following booth cars: Porsche 991.2 GT3 on HRE R101 Lightweight, Audi S5 Sportback on HRE RS208M, BMW M3 on FF04 and BMW M4 on HRE P104.
Of the many highlights that day, HRE Wheels unveiled a set of 540 wheels on a Volkswagen GTI, belonging to Kelly D., who won these unreleased wheels in the 'HRE MY EURO' contest. The 540 is a 3-piece wheel that was popular back in the late-90s, early-00s and is now coming back to the HRE Forged lineup. HRE Wheels also provided one of the grand prizes, a set of FlowForm wheels, for the EURO18 Charity Raffle which benefits the Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation.
