In 1978 Bob Varela opened Foreign Affairs in Oakland Park, Florida. Bob’s love of automobiles, factory training, and extensive experience in racing with the likes of Preston Henn, the Whittington brothers, Danny Ongais, Michael Andretti, and AJ Foyt, just to name a few, culminated in a business that has thrived for over 38 years. Attention to detail, reasonable rates and world-class service keeps customers coming back.

Foreign Affairs Motorsport has been at its current location in Pompano Beach, Florida for the past 17 years and remains one of the oldest family owned and operated full automobile service center catering to high end German marquees in South Florida. Over the years Bob’s family has grown and all three of his sons are an active part of the business. We encourage you to stop by our shop and meet us in person.
